Account and profile
Does Casty cost anything?
No. The account, the profile and applications are free for people looking for work. We take no cut of your rate.
What do I have to fill in before I can apply?
Your name, city, date of birth, gender, phone, a profile photo and a few gallery photos. Portfolio, family and transport details are optional.
Why does Casty need photos?
Organizers choose from them. Your gallery photos are visible to the organizer of the job you apply to.
How do I delete my account?
From settings in the app. We remove the data from active systems, subject to backups and periods required by law.
Applications
How do I know whether I am in?
The application status changes in the app and you get a notification with the decision. No need to chase it.
What is standby?
The list of people who come in when somebody drops out. You get an offer with a response window and can accept or decline.
Can I apply for just one day of a job?
Yes. You choose the days you are available for, not the whole job.
What if the job changes after I apply?
Material changes such as the time, the place or the rate arrive as a notification and you confirm them before the job day.
The job day
How does check-in work?
On location you scan a code on the way in and another on the way out. That same record is what your settlement is counted from.
What if there is no signal?
The code works offline. The record syncs once the phone is back on the network.
What if I cannot make it?
Withdraw in the app as early as you can and the seat goes to somebody on standby. Not showing up without withdrawing affects your reliability.
What if the day runs long or ends early?
The real check-out time counts. If a scan fails, the organizer corrects attendance by hand and the correction stays in the history.
Money and contracts
When do I get paid?
The settlement is counted from the attendance record once the day is closed. The transfer date is set by the organizer and shown on the job.
What contract do I work under?
A contract with the organizer of the job. You sign it in the app before the job day and can download a copy.
What do I need to get paid?
The details from Personal info and a bank account number. Without them an application to a paid day will not go through.
Where do I see what I earned?
In your application history, with an earnings summary and each day settled separately.

From what age can I work through Casty?
From 16. People aged 16 and 17 give their date of birth and confirm guardian consent in their profile.
Can a child work through Casty?
No. Applications are blocked below the age of 16.
Safety and data
Who is behind a job?
A verified company. We check registration details before the first publication and the organizer name is shown on the job.
Who sees my data?
The organizer of the job you apply to, to the extent needed for the decision, the contract and the settlement. We do not sell data.
What do I do if something went wrong on location?
Report it from the application or write to us. After the day you can also review the organizer.
For organizations
Is Casty a temporary work agency?
No. Casty runs your sourcing and your job day. You are the party to the contract with the person.
Can I use my own contract template?
Yes. You upload a template with variables and Casty fills it with the role terms, then collects the signature and your countersignature.
What about people under 18?
People aged 16 and 17 apply once guardian consent is recorded in their profile. Below 16 applications are blocked.
Can we run several projects at once?
Yes. Projects, job days and roles carry their own access, so a set coordinator sees their day and accounting sees their exports.
Which kinds of work does Casty cover?
Casting, catering, stewards, hosts, modeling and other day work — every category runs through the same flow.
